A. It’s a transposition of 1984. It also gives us three years (from December 31, 1944 to January 1, 1948) to adjust history and develop the fictional aspects of the setting. Note that the primary premise of the setting is that the year is 1948 and WWII is still going on.

Q. What is it about?

A. Its about sci-fi, monsters, magic, aliens, occultism, and war. 1948 is a mix of real-world history, legends, and retro-science fiction. A full description can be seen on the first page of this web site. 

Q. When will it be released?

A. 1948 is being released in small sections. All sections are available from this web site. Eventually, these sections will be bundled with additional material and sold in one large volume, but that probably won't happen for quite some time yet. 

Q. Do you plan to release 1948 as a printed book, or only PDF?

A. We will eventually release a printed book containing a lot of the core material, but the majority of 1948 material will remain in E-book format. We prefer the electronic format because it allows for more functionality than a printed book.
