Mission Guide

The 1948 Mission Guide features six adventure synopses and an overview of the elements and features that a typical 1948 adventure should have. Each of the adventure synopses includes a suggested level range, an overview of the plot, and a list of the prestige classes and advanced classes that are most suited to the adventure.

This supplement also features a detailed stat block and description of Captain Kreig, a high ranking (CR 17) Nazi commander who carries an experimental ray gun. The Enemy feat and statistics for Kreig's unique ray gun are also included in this supplement.

Krieg fits well into most of the adventure synopsis presented in this volume. He might be the commander who takes charge of Nazi forces in "A Panther’s Fury" or he might lead the hunt for the PCs in "The Omega Device." He could also be part of the Nazi expedition in "The Nagas Below."

With this supplement you can also learn the fine art of crafting 1948 adventures of your own. After reading the example adventures and the design guidelines, you will be able to craft plenty of your own missions and adventures.

This is an essential supplement for anyone playing a 1948 campaign. It is also well suited to anyone playing a typical WWII game. Since the Mission Guide consists of plot summaries and setting description, it is also applicable to nearly any RPG system, not just d20 Modern.
