reviews

Reviewers at Electronic d20.com - give the Primal Codex a rating of 7.6 out of 10 and say:

  • "...a lot less people have bought it than should have considering the quantity of excellent material within it.

And

  • "...the diseases are EXCELLENT, covering hepatitis, polio, and tetanus, among others. And to increase the verisimilitude even more, the conditions are great. Each poison and disease lists what conditions come with it, and the conditions are all included in the next section - from blurry vision, intestinal cramps and bleeding gums to dismemberment and excruciating muscle pain."

Customers at RPGnow.com- give the Primal Codex a rating of 4.3 out of 5 and say:

  • "For running a primitive campaign, this would be a must-buy. Even if you aren't running a jungle or ice-age scenario, there are plenty of things here that still make it worth while:"

And

  • "This is an excellent book for those who like Rangers, Druids and Barbarians. It provides a lot of "Wilderness Lore" in the form of diseases, poisonous plants, natural traps and missing animal stats. As someone who works in a greenhouse, I must say the plant information was well done."
