The Hero's Handbook is  packed with enhancements and options for high-fantasy heroes. A Guide to Poisonous Plants 

and Infectious Diseases

This d20 supplement features rules for dozens of naturally occurring poisons and diseases. Detailed descriptions of toadstools, malaria, hemlock and much more fill these pages. 

Chapter 1 covers over 40 poisonous plants such as foxgloves, death camas, and nightshade. It also includes rules for microbial poisons. This chapter also features an encounter table detailing the terrain type for each plant. Another table showing the difficulty to identify the poisonous plants, and listing what they are commonly misidentified as, is also included. 

Each description of a poison or disease includes a list of the common symptoms associated with it, such as vomiting, chills, or coma, just to name a few. These can be used with the information in Chapter 3 to quantifiably increase the characters' suffering. 

With this supplement, Game Masters can torment the heroes with unprecedented agony!

Primal Codex

This is an indispensable sourcebook for any campaign setting. It is especially useful for adding a primitive or stone age flavor to an existing campaign. The Primal Codex contains dozens of new spells, magic items and monsters as well as new races, classes and feats. The centerpiece of this supplement, however, is the chapters on poisons, diseases and conditions. The codex provides d20 rules for anthrax, rabies, cholera, seizures, depression, dismemberment, death camas, and oleanders.
